I have not posted on this blog in a longtime, way too long! I wanted to be only French scenes. After five years I am going back to visit my family ,when my mother was living I was there two or three times a year,then my life changed a bit and five years went like a flash,I am making this trip a surprise to my brother and sister who are much older than me.So today I wanted to get in the mood to paint something French,the scene is a typical village with your church in the middle the white building on the right has to be the Mairie and the one on the left the school .Email me if you are interested in this painting, nlcasey@charter.net

I love blue shutters on a house , actually my house has them now !
This watercolor is a house in France in a small town of Nibelle ,where many of my relatives live , an area where I used to spend my summer vacations when I was growing up.
Can you tell I love to paint architecture , even as a young child , I would draw houses on everything .
This is a lovely watercolor and would make a nice addition to someones collection.
