I have not posted on this blog in a longtime, way too long! I wanted to be only French scenes. After five years I am going back to visit my family ,when my mother was living I was there two or three times a year, then my life changed a bit and five years went like a flash,I am making this trip a surprise to my brother and sister who are much older than me.So today I wanted to get in the mood to paint something French, the scene is a typical village with your church in the middle the white building on the right has to be the Mairie and the one on the left the school .Email me if you are interested in this painting, nlcasey@charter.net Nita Leger Caseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16509247324494887536noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8919052251575751269.post-68997327579035944892011-11-03T16:57:00.000-07:002011-11-03T16:57:30.339-07:00Hotel du Midi

Thinking about France made me look at some of my old photos, this is a
hotel that my Aunt owned in the town of Checy, it was called L'hotel du
Midi , I probably could write a book about it, a lot of Family history
happened there, weddings, religious events, births and funerals the
family would gathered at the hotel after, I have just about every
relatives photos in front of this old hotel even during World War two
as well , the name is changed now, but the memories live on .
This was from a photo I took about 4 years ago now called Bar de la Diligence .
If you have a photo of a place that you would like to have a painting for memories ,
