Le Village de St Julien
Small village in the Sologne region , I Always liked this village ,I think it was the name ,because it was my father's name Julien . The Cher river run through, a beautiful river where people relax and fish from it, lots of small farms who mostly raise goats, the area is famous for their goat cheese .Email me if you are interested in a painting of France .

La ferme de L'etang ,by Nita Leger Casey
This is a typical scene of a small french farm with a small duck pond , this is a larger painting .
this scene was close to my mother's house in France , when my children were little ,they had made a friend there , a male duck who follow them like a dog , it was too funny!

Village de Chabris , French series
I am working on two different blogs , wanted to keep all my French scenes together .A quint village in the Sologne region, where not much is happening , still close enough to have Parisians use it for summer residence , some are only two room antique houses, ou "une petite maison ancienne "" maison de campagne ", Parisians don't stay in the city when not working . When I was painting this one , I was thinking , spring scene with the light bouncing on the building.
10x10 oil on canvas , $200.00, my email nlcasey@charter.net
