Le village de St Julien , oil on board 8x10
copyrighted by Nita Leger Casey

Small village in the Sologne region , I Always liked this village ,I think it was the name ,because it was my father's name Julien . The Cher river run through, a beautiful river where people relax and fish from it, lots of small farms who mostly raise goats, the area is famous for their goat cheese .Email me if you are interested in a painting of France .

Dear Nita

I have to say that this painting has warmed my heart to the deepest core. It`s the kind that just melts away any sadness. Thank you for this gift.

Hi, I am a watercolor/pastel artist. I just have such an Ah ha moment when I look at this picture. It should be in a Museum. I was just struck by it. It has a wow factor and I can't quit put my finger on it. It is just the whole package. Great color, composition....really love it. Thank you so much for posting it.
